Blending photography and graphic design can add character and personality to each frame. It also creates some frame-worthy memorabilia.

2025 marked the inaugural season of the Tipp City Connect Baseball Club. My son is a club member. My way of cheering from the sidelines is sinking into the subtle details of the game, with a camera and some sunscreen. These renders were created in-kind, simply out of gratitude for the coaches. As I become more comfortable with AI image generation, I’m enjoying a mixed approach: Adjusting levels and color in Lightroom, exporting black and white structural frames from Photoshop that inform compositional reference in Firefly, exploring prompt variations in ChatGPT, using those playful conjurings as textured layers (or simply inspiration) and blending it all together back in Photoshop. Back and forth, back and forth until what’s on the canvas matches what’s in my heart.
